Rebbetzin Batya Seruya
            Our menaheles, Mrs. Batya Seruya, has been educating Bais Yaakov students for over twenty years with remarkable dedication, creativity, and expertise. As a founder of Nitzotz Seminary, Mrs. Seruya opened Nitzotz Bais Yaakov High School with a passion to share her vast knowledge of Yiddishkeit and her deep understanding of today's girls. Known for her incredible ability to inspire, she not only instills a love for Torah and learning but also fosters a love for life and personal growth. A true מחנכת, Mrs. Seruya brings out the best in each student, guiding them to become strong, proud בנות ישראל. In addition to leading our school, Mrs. Seruya teaches a four-year מסילת ישרים curriculum, complete with custom-made workbooks, which leaves her students with timeless lessons that shape their lives.​​​​​​​

Rabbi Sadya Grama
             Rabbi Sadya Grama, maggid shiur at Mesivta Keren Hatorah of Lakewood and directs a Mussar Vaad in Rav Nosson Stein's Yeshiva, travels from Lakewood each week to deliver lessons on השקפה to the twelfth grade. Rabbi Grama plays a significant role in addressing the needs of כלל ישראל, offering guidance and הדרכה in a wide range of areas. Additionally, his counsel is sought for important decisions and concerns relating to Nitzotz Bais Yaakov.

Rabbi Yisroel Ungar
         Rabbi Yisroel Ungar has been teaching הלכה for approximately fifteen years at several high schools, including BYA, Prospect Park Yeshiva, Mesillas Bais Yaakov, and Chaim Berlin, where he has taught thousands of students. Many students and even their husbands maintain contact with him after graduation, seeking his guidance for halachic questions. Rabbi Ungar teaches in the mornings and dedicates his afternoons and evenings to learning in kollel, with the goal of inspiring students to pursue a deeper understanding of halacha. He believes that a basic knowledge is not enough for managing a household, and his students develop a keen sense for halachic matters after learning with him. Additionally, he organizes engaging schoolwide programs on topics like ברכות and הלכות שבת, aiming to continue uplifting and inspiring students for years to come.

Mrs. Frayde Spector
             Mrs. Frayde Spector teaches תנ''ך to the students and brings a wealth of experience in integrating proper תורה השקפה with the study of the פסוקים. She currently teaches איוב, יחזקאל, and תהלים to the 12th grade, as well as ישעי'הו to the 11th grade. Mrs. Spector is known for forming lifelong connections with her students.

Mrs. Karen Rovner
             This year, Mrs. Karen Rovner  has joined our staff and is  teaching the Yesodos/ Foundations course to the 11th grade at Nitzotz Bais Yaakov. The course focuses on the fundamentals of Yiddishkeit and how to strengthen one's relationship with both our Creator and others. In addition, she teaches a Torah-based music class and has been providing piano lessons for many years. Mrs. Rovner is passionate about teaching unique השקפה topics and extracurricular subjects that leave a meaningful and inspiring impact on her students' lives.

Mrs. Tzippy Reifer
             Mrs. Tzippy Reifer is an international speaker and a respected leader in Jewish education. She is the founder of AMATZ, an organization dedicated to supporting educators, and the former principal of Elyon Seminary. With a deep commitment to helping the כלל, she also established Tamu Night Seminary and has made significant contributions as a teacher in various high schools. In addition to her educational work, Mrs. Reifer is a published writer, further extending her influence and impact within the community.

Mrs. Miriam Kotler
             Mrs. Miriam Kotler, originally from Los Angeles, has resided in Bensonhurst for the majority of her married life. Her depth and love for learning is imparted to her students through her captivating lessons. Her goal is to help them cultivate strong character traits and a deep sense of reverence for spirituality. In addition to her role as an educator, Mrs. Kotler is also a כלה teacher and is actively involved in matchmaking. Having recently completed a dating mentoring course, she remains quite busy, but it is teaching that brings her the greatest fulfillment.

Mrs. Miriam Groner
              Mrs. Miriam Groner has been in the field of chinuch for close to thirty years. As a לימודי קודש teacher, she has taught many subjects across the high school and seminary curriculum, and her goal is to leave her students with a confidence in the Hashkafic lessons given over through the material being taught.
              In addition to classroom teaching, Mrs. Groner is a professional כלה teacher and a certified life coach.
